Soul Thoughts
Intuition, as most spiritual gifts, is essentially trust. Trust grows with practice. That’s why exercising our energy work is essential. We may sometimes think of using our intuition as something serious and difficult. We serve ourselves and others better when we accept it as a natural talent that we all possess. It is ingrained in our very soul and enhanced in our physical bodies with practice. In those moments when self-doubt creeps in or apprehension becomes a barrier to clarity and self-assurance, take a self-check in trust. Ask yourself a series of questions related to your personal spiritual practice. Listen to your inner voice answering each question. Your questions will reflect your personal practices. A conversation with myself might go something like this.
Do I trust God? I trust God as creator, father and omnipotence. Do I trust the angels? I trust angels as compassionate beings with a divine plan, wise guidance and a desire to be of service. Do I trust my guides? I trust my guides implicitly as they have never, ever led me astray. I trust that they love me as I love them. I trust that they will allow me to find my way with gentle nudges. I trust that they will give me clues when I’m perplexed. I trust that they will teach in many ways that range from subtle impressions to stark directives and even urgent warnings. I trust that they will never, ever lead me wrong, though they will allow me to make my own learning mistakes from my stubbornness, and I acknowledge that, sadly, this is how I learn hard lessons. Do I trust myself? How could I not? I have a lifetime of experience in my personal spiritual practice. It is a lifetime of learning, searching, discovering, remembering and trusting. I absolutely trust my personal spiritual practice above all other teachings. This is my experience. I know without doubt that guidance is available to me. I know that patience, practice and trust are the stepping stones to success in my practice. I know that a non-answer IS an answer. I know that silence means to pause and allow a new perspective to appear. I know that “a-hah” moments appear in the quiet solitude and stillness of mind and soul. Releasing preconceptions and expectations tears down barriers to intuition, clarity and guidance. In the emptiness, spiritual guidance appears as clearly as a familiar form emerging through a fog, and is just as welcome.
Intuition is trust. It is trust of spirit; inner spirit and the spirituality of our practice.

Coping and Thriving
We all can benefit from simple, basic coping tips from someone who has been through troublesome times and has a few tips from that experience. The focus is on coping and thriving.
One matter of concern is the effect of prolonged stress and anxiety. A positive attitude may get us through the early troubles. As time rolls on, and circumstances don’t improve or may worsen, a more concerted, deliberate plan must unfold. Here are two things that can help, and why:
(1) Walk
It isn’t just the exercise of walking that is beneficial. It is the pacing. Here’s why. Keeping a basic rhythm (pace) signals your mind and body that this is a conditioning experience to strengthen and tone, not only your muscles; but also your organs, vessels, and, yes, your brain. Keeping a steady rhythm rather than an accelerated pace allows your mind and body to sync up and promote a balanced, unfettered flow of life-force energy, spiritual strength and well-being. The focus, in contrast to exercise designed to build muscles, is rhythmic pacing that brings together in harmony all the aspects of you into balance and a united perspective. When everything about you paces in harmony, congruently, collectively, for a common goal, you are your own well-being team. Bring your unseen spiritual team (angels, guides, divinity) with you for support and an enhanced experience. Paced walking can bless you in ways you will not fully understand until you have put forth the effort for a time.
(2) Sunlight
Whether you get sunlight on a walking trail, patio or porch, or through a window, natural sunlight is healing to mind, body and soul. Artificial light does not offer the same benefit, and may actually be detrimental. Even filtered sunlight peaking through the trees or curtains can provide this healing energy, and it does so in ways that might surprise you. Sunlight touching the skin, even through the UV protection of lotions and creams, is well-known for its beneficial effects. Often overlooked or unappreciated is the filtered sunlight entering the body through the eyes. Think of your eyes as housing the cabling system for your brain. If your brain is on “overload” from dealing with stress, anxiety and even panic, it isn’t working at optimum efficiency. For your brain to give your mind and body the highest benefit, give it a cable to our natural source of light and energy. Never look directly into the sun; but allow filtered, indirect (shaded) sunlight to “speak” to your mind and soul for deep healing, soothing strengthening.
TIPS:
* If you walk outdoors, check the weather for pollutants and allergens as well as other weather conditions that could adversely affect your health. Wear protective gear as needed.
* If you walk indoors, walk barefoot if possible, or use a treadmill, elliptical or stationary bicycle near a window. If you are unable to walk; but can move your legs, make the walking motion. If you cannot make leg motion; but can move your arms, use arm motions (your body has already adjusted to your arms serving as your legs once did). If you cannot move, make the movements in your mind like a “daydream”. The important thing is to keep a steady pace.

Deliberate Reverence
Practicing deliberate reverence is choosing to pause deliberately
in order to honor Divine Spirit in gratitude. Seeking guidance,
inner peace and personal revelation for your life or responsibilities
are opportunities to practice deliberate reverence.
When I think of deliberate reverence, the image that immediately
comes to mind is the symbolism of “namaste” (I bow to you).
From this humble disposition, appreciation and devotion settle upon
your spirit like the morning dew to instill inner peace and enlightened
perspective.
As you practice deliberate reverence, all that you seek and all that
may bring you joy, peace, wisdom and unexpected blessings for you
and all that is in your purview come to you.
Many blessings.
